medchi celebrates a milestone!

 In 1799, just south of Baltimore in Annapolis, 101 leaders of Maryland’s medical profession from nearly every county convened to form The Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of the State of Maryland. 

On Monday, January 22, 2024, MedChi members gathered in Annapolis to commemorate this occasion in the place where it all began. The Senate and House Chambers honored MedChi with Citations during the General Assembly. Members and guests were able to view MedChi's original charter documents from 1799.
